This course provides the opportunity for those students who dream of becoming a Pilot or students looking for an exciting career in aviation. We have flight instructors, Pilots, members who work in the aviation industry and aviation mechanics to assist in this endeavor.

FLIGHT SIMULATOR
The flight simulator allows students to re-create aircraft flights and the flight environment. Students will experience their first flight with the flight simulator as the simulator makes use of flight controls and the instrument panel all while teaching students the procedures of taking off, landing and navigation.

CERTIFICATION AND COMPLETION
Upon completion of the class and passing of the exam with at least a score of 80%, students will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate qualifies students to take the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam

COUNSELING
Support our youth by providing them with a mentor. Provide interactive knowledge to keep students interested. Encourage students to understand their potentials.

LAB CLASSROOM ENVIROMENT
We are located at the Hayward Executive Airport. This location allows us to provide students with a class room environment and to be at the heart of the action. This location also provides students the opportunity to learn more about aviation and the people who work in them.

MATERIALS
We are using the most current version of the Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge FAA-H-8083-25B, Private Pilot Test Prep ASA-TP-P-17, Sectional Charts, PowerPoint presentations, videos, and the flight simulator.
